A studio visit is such an intimate experience; it’s an artist trusting you to enter their creative space. Urban Outfitters was doing a series of studio visits for Debbie Carlos and they both asked me to photograph the studio visit experience. These photos show a glimpse of what it’s like to be in Debbie Carlos’s creative spaces. I got a chance to get a quick tour and then spend the rest of the morning following her around in a space she spends most of her time. These are the photos I sent back to Urban Outfitters.
