A Film Road Trip
December 7, 2018
Sometimes just changing your setting can make you look at the whole world anew. I try to put my self in new settings as much as possible. When I go on such trips I take a few rolls of film and a film camera. On this latest trip to San Antonio, I had 4 rolls of Fujifilm 400h film and my Hasselblad 500cm. For being in San Antonio for almost a week, these photos are cross sections of the times I was stopped in my tracks by something: either it was the look of a person or a setting that gave me the sense of calm.
I lugged around this briefcase of a camera throughout the trip and ever moment of me carrying that camera is worth it as I look at these film scans.
