This is a typical street in the beautiful neighbourhoods of Johannesburg South Africa. Probably to the chagrin of one of my friends who was traveling with me, I kept stopping in the middle of traffic to take photos like this.

A dear friend of mine blew up this photo and put it on her wall. It is always fun to see what kind of photos people like or dislike.
This is one of my favorite photos and I don’t say that lightly. It is far too often that we see pictures of someone blowing dandelion seeds but there is something raw and real about the result.

Inside a Mosque
People often ask me what it is like inside a mosque and this is a pretty cool representation of it. Even though this photo was taken inside a mosque in DC, it looks like it could be out of a neighborhood in Istanbul.
